TDR ULTRA® HDPE Corrugated Pipe — AASHTO & ASTM Certified

In construction and infrastructure, effective storm drainage starts with the right pipe. TDR ULTRA® is a dual-wall HDPE corrugated pipe engineered by TDR Pipe® for strong, reliable, gravity-flow water management—ideal for applications from agriculture and highways to commercial developments. It is available in diameters from 4″ to 60″ and meets the leading AASHTO and ASTM standards.

What Is TDR ULTRA® HDPE Corrugated Pipe?
TDR ULTRA® is a dual-wall corrugated HDPE drainage pipe built for storm drainage, culverts, and subsurface drainage. It pairs a corrugated exterior for structural strength with a smooth interior liner for efficient hydraulic flow (Manning’s n of 0.010), making it a high-performance choice for moving large volumes of water reliably over the long term.

Built for Strength and 100% Watertight Performance
TDR ULTRA® HDPE corrugated pipe is manufactured from virgin high-density polyethylene with reinforced double-arch corrugations for added strength. Each pipe is dual-layered and co-extruded with an integrated bell, delivering 100% watertight joints that comply with ASTM D3212, sealed with gaskets meeting ASTM F477. The result is a corrosion-resistant, leak-free system designed to outperform and outlast traditional drainage materials.

What AASHTO Certification Means
The American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) sets the standards for materials used in transportation and infrastructure. AASHTO M294 is the primary specification for large-diameter HDPE corrugated pipe in highway applications—defining wall structure, stiffness, and performance so the pipe withstands heavy traffic loads and environmental stress. AASHTO M252 covers smaller-diameter pipe for similar drainage uses.

What ASTM Standards Cover
The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) develops industry-wide specifications that ensure consistency and quality. ASTM F2306 governs HDPE corrugated pipe for gravity-flow drainage, verifying material properties, flexibility, impact resistance, and joint integrity. ASTM F2648 and ASTM F667 define additional material and dimensional requirements, while ASTM D3212 and ASTM F477 confirm watertight joint performance.

Why Certified HDPE Corrugated Pipe Matters
Compliance with AASHTO and ASTM standards isn’t a formality—it’s assurance. It tells engineers, contractors, and project managers that the pipe will perform predictably under real-world loads and conditions for decades. TDR Pipe® manufactures to these international standards (including NSF/ANSI 61 for potable-water products across our line), so every project is backed by safe, sustainable, and high-quality solutions. Choosing certified HDPE corrugated pipe means fewer surprises, lower lifecycle costs, and confidence that your drainage system will hold up.
